Gatherings
[ ]Claiming Cove
Located ever further south than the South herds, Claiming Cove is located on a white-sand beach along the waters of the Ocean of Venetia. It is the favorite place of all ambitious hessians; this is where their herds will always start.

All new mares come here to be claimed by a stallion who has his own land. Fillies of three years old also come here after leaving their home terras. Bachelors may claim here, but remember, they can only hold two mares at a time!

[ ]Concourse Valley
The core of the Compass is known as Concourse Valley. This land is equally shared by all points; North, South, East, and West. All are welcome here, to share in this beautiful land.

However, problems are bound to break out between rival clans. This place, unfortunately, is never peaceful, as it seems it should be. Will the Valley ever retain the rapport of its appearance? Only the Compass's future will unfold this truth.

[ ]Field of Larceny
In the misty field to the far east lies the Field of Larceny. The mysterious fog that constantly covers this area is quite fitting. This is where faes meet their salvation... or doom. The silent battles commence here, called by some "dirty fighting" and called by others "strategy".

Mares are stolen from their captors by other stallions here. Always watch; it's potentially the most dangerous fate.

[ ]Degradae Plain
Degradae Plain lies to the far West, a barren, desert-like area not fit for life. Perhaps this is why it has been chosen as a symbol of death: the brawling grounds. Many an equine has met their end in this very spot and it is to be predicted that many more will reach the same sad end.

At the Degradae Plain, stallions challenge other stallions for terras and mares. Mares may also challenge for a lead position. Fights will be roleplayed and judged by Queen Mab. Five posts are allowed for each equine per fight. Only one challenge a week per equine is allowed.

North
[ ]Icelandica -- The Snowcap
The North houses possibly the cruelest of all the terrains: Icelandica. For centuries, Queen Mab has occupied the "ice palace" here, accompanied by no one, but when the land was split, others flocked to join her, spilling into the East as well. A wall of mountains surrounds Icelandica as a natural protective barrier. There is always a layer of snow and permafrost on the ground. The Immortal Queen houses herself in the chasms of the northmost mountain, but all of her subjects are welcome to join her within it. Although the equines residing here are peace-loving, the weather conditions are harsh; the softer of spirit reside in the neighboring sister herd to the East.

South
[ ]Brazilia -- The Tropics
Brazilia is lain to the South point of the Compass. It's a lush land of beautiful, clean beaches and muggy, humid rainforest. It would be called a paradise, but it is plagued with mosquitoes and other such insects, potentially carrying deadly diseases. Otherwise, the beaches are perfect for raising babes and the dense jungles make for a good protection from Northern and Eastern attacks. From long ago, the Rebels have made good use of these assets and their population has prospered intensely.

East
[ ]Europia -- The Mediterranean
The temperate land of Europia is home to the loyalists who have chosen not to live in Icelandia. The weather is ideal; it is never humid, nor too cold. The only downside is the constant rain falling upon this terrain. Bogs and swamps surround it, making it much less accessible to enemies. Run-off from Icelandia creates glacier-fed lakes across the heram, leaving the residents with a constant supply of fresh, cool water. The weather and evergreen forested areas make it a great, safe place to raise young.

West
[ ]Atoria -- The Plains
Atoria lies to the West, on a series of plains and plateaus. It's scorching hot here most of the time; exactly the opposite of Icelandia. This is the original location the steed Kearney used as his rebel territory. His followers have resided within it well, their intentions escalating. The desert and steep buttes serve excellent protection from attacks by other herams. The rebels from this clan are always acting up and picking fights with the loyalists; it's appropriate that Degredae Plain is local. It is a fight to find food and water here, but the rebels are tough and enjoy every moment of their battle to survive.

The Underworld
[ ]Styx -- Land of the Dead
The River Styx is a common term, but the real Styx in the Land of the Compass lies beneath Concourse Valley. It's an eerie and desolate land. The flora grows in strange shades of black and gray, and is inedible to any still living. A dry riverbed runs through the dead center of the land. Some who have died still dwell here, hoping to help the new generation get by. Although they can't leave here, they strive to still fight for their allegiences. When a rebel is truly in need, Kearney may even emerge to provide advice to them.
